PROMISING FEMALE DRIVER RECIEVES SPONSORSHIP FROM RODIN CARS AHEAD OF DEMANDING 2024 CAMPAIGN.

You could be forgiven for not recognising the name, but take note, because this young lady is quickly climbing the single-seater racing ladder.

Talented British racing driver, Abbi Pulling, is determined to achieve at the highest level, and demonstrate that women can compete, and win, at the peak of motorsport. The peak, F1 of course. Currently an Alpine Academy member, Abbi benefits from unrivalled access to top-flight F1 experts and can see a clear pathway to the upper levels of motorsport. Abbi is already challenging the norm by being the first woman to ever drive a Formula 1 car in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Rodin Cars are delighted to announce our full sponsorship of Pulling’s British F4 seat, while Rodin Motorsport and Alpine will together be supporting her second assault on the F1 Academy series. The dual racing programme will be demanding, but Abbi and her team look forward to the challenge.

“We’re thrilled to have Abbi fly the Rodin flag, her focus and ambition is something to be admired. We’re really grateful that Abbi, and Alpine, have put their trust in the Rodin team again this year and I’m excited for their busy year ahead” Emma Duncan – Rodin Cars GM.

2023 saw Pulling take part in the inaugural F1 Academy where she was firmly established as one to watch. Pulling stormed through the season taking a total of seven podiums and two pole positions on her way to fifth overall in the standings. Always finding herself firmly in the mix, she pulled off multiple fantastic overtaking manoeuvres and has established herself as a front runner going into her second season.

“I’m ecstatic to be coming back with Rodin Motorsport in 2024, and proud to become a part of the Rodin Cars family. We had some highs and lows in our 2023 campaign, but it was the best group of people to work with and learn with; it really feels like a second family. We’re pushing hard for 2024, and I think we have an exciting year lined up. We’re going to quite a few unknown tracks such as Jeddah and Qatar so the limited track time prior to the new events will be a good challenge together as a team.”

“It’s also going to be really great heading back to the British F4 Championship – there’s certainly some unfinished business there and I’m pleased to be able to race in such a brilliant championship with Rodin Motorsport where they have such a great history. I think we’re in for a great year together!”

Abbi started her racing journey at the age of eight with karting. She proceeded to have an extraordinary junior career, earning herself two British Championship titles alongside her studies and competition in numerous other series. Her success at the Open Championship mirrors that of former Formula 1 World Champion, Jenson Button.

The Rodin team are pleased to have Abbi and Alpine put faith back in their team for the 2024 F1 Academy, and that she will also be taking part in selected British F4 rounds, giving her even more valuable time behind the wheel.
