Rodin Cars enter 2023 with the announcement of their merger with British race team Carlin.

Carlin has a proud history in the motorsport industry – with 30 championship titles to their name and have played a pivotal part in promoting over 30 drivers to F1 during the team’s history.

Carlin has been a force in junior motorsport and was joint partners with Rodin Cars in sponsoring F2 and F4 race winners Liam Lawson and Louis Sharp in the 2022 season. Racing under the new name of Rodin Carlin, the reinvigorated team will compete in several high-profile racing championships.

Our investment in the Carlin team emphasises Rodin Cars intent in the motorsport sector, and promises to continue the racing and championship winning legacy.

Rodin Carlin is one of the largest teams outside Formula 1 with race-winning experience in a variety of championships.

Some of today’s most successful drivers have passed through the doors of Carlin, including racers in F1, IndyCar, WTCC and DTM. Present and past F1 drivers such as Sebastian Vettel, Daniel Ricciardo, Kevin Magnussen and Carlos Sainz are among the F1 field who are Carlin alumni.

The partnership between Rodin Cars and the management team at Carlin provide a great combination of business skills and racing knowledge. Ensuring a stable business base for the team are CEO Grahame (Chily) Chilton, long-term motorsport enthusiast, and Trevor Carlin, who has a wealth of experience and knowledge in motorsport.

Carlin is one of the most successful racing teams in the world, taking over 400 victories in their history – with some of the greatest drivers to grace the sport. At Rodin Carlin, we pride ourselves on a reputation for winning races and helping drivers achieve their racing ambitions.

Our team have nine British F3 titles to our name, three titles in Formula Renault 3.5, two titles in the GP3 Series, six titles in British F4 and over 400 race wins and 1000 podiums across numerous championships.
